i feeeeeeyel as if i'm looking at the world from the bottom of a well

it was weird. today in modern jewish literature we were going around the room introducing ourselves and whatnot. this kid, his name is brett, was like 'hi my name is brett and i'm a transfer student from new england college' and immediately i was like 'WHOA! new england college in henniker new hampshire?' and he was like 'yeah' and i was like 'i went there too! i transferred to here from there too!'
and he was really surprised. he was like 'really?! wow.' and then i was like 'yeah, seriously, we should be friends.' and he was like 'yeah' and then finished introducing himself. after he was done i saw him mouth the word 'wow.'
it was pretty incredible to see another kid do exactly the same thing i did, from such a tiny school in a tinier town to a good sized university in one of the biggest cities in the world. and we have a class together. it was weird.


classes are good. whatever. school is stupid and i'm in senior denial.
